Greene HP

The highest ground in Greene County is located one and a half miles southeast of Selma, south of London Road. This area is along the Greene/Clark County line. Greene County is to the south of the county line, which cuts haphazardly through the field in question.

The original topo, using 5-foot contours, depicts an area of 1135+ feet extending in from Clark County to the north. The LiDAR DEM, using 2-foot contours, shows an area of 1134+ feet roughly coincident with the original 1135+ foot contour, and depicts two small areas above 1136 feet as well. The northern of these areas is about 150 feet due east of a "Y" point along a fence / forest line. This is just barely south of the county line. The southern of the two areas is about 275 feet due south of the same "Y" point. The LiDAR DEM gives a maximum elevation of 1137.9 feet, located in the southern of the two areas.

Since these small rises aren't on the county line itself, this point a pure liner using the LiDAR DEM instead of the topo.
