Marion HP
The highest point in Marion County, Ohio, is located near the intersection of Hurr Road and Iberia Bucyrus Road, about five miles southwest of the city of Galion.
The original topo depicted a relatively small contour of 1110 feet, and the LiDAR DEM essentially agrees. The LiDAR DEM actually depicts two smaller bumps rising above 1110 feet. The one to the west is higher, with a maximum elevation given of 1111.7 feet. This also agrees with the Schwab trip report, as he found the western rise to be higher as well.
