Cameron HP

The highest point in Cameron County, Pennsylvania, is located about a mile and a half west of SR 46, northwest of Emporium.

The high point originally listed is upheld by the LiDAR data. The original topo depicts a tiny 2380+ contour along a ridge. The LiDAR DEM gives a maximum elevation of 2371.9 feet. This is quite a bit lower than the original topo depicts. It is possible that the contours drawn on the original topo were overestimated a bit near the top of the ridge. The 2300 foot contours drawn on the original topo and the LiDAR DEM imagery are almost completely identical.

Regardless of the above, a comparison of the relative heights of other contending hills indicates that this clearly remains the highest in Cameron County.
