Clarion HP

The highest points in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, are located a few miles north of Interstate 80 near Fisher.

The original topo depicts two hills along a ridge with relatively small contours of 1900+ feet in elevation. The northern contour is the larger of the two.

The LiDAR DEM data indicates that the northern area is clearly the higher of the two. The LiDAR DEM gives an elevation for the northern point of 1911.9 feet. The point to the south reaches a maximum elevation of 1899.4 feet, which fairly soundly takes it out of contention for the highest point in the county.

The LiDAR DEM indicates that the highest ground is just south of a small cleared area on the top of the hill.
