The hockey stick was purchased at the Washington Capitals Equipment Sale in the summer of 2007. It was purchased and sent to me by C.J. Amatucci.
The stick is solid black, and may have been painted over. I was able to determine that it is a Warrior Kronick model. One thing is for certain -- the stick was not originally Clymer's. The name stamp, which has also been colored over, is "A. Ovechkin." The tape on the butt end of the stick features Clymer's number 27. This was likely written on by the equipment manager, as the handwriting matches up with the rest of the sticks from the Capitals' sale. There are only light signs of use.
